ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA-FIA) program was introduced at Kolej Profesional Baitulmal Kuala Lumpur (KPBKL) with the first intake in June 2022, replacing the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) program. Aligned with its goals, objectives, and learning outcomes, the Foundation in Accountancy program aims to produce graduates who are competent in the field of accounting and possess the competitiveness to meet the needs of employers and industries in Malaysia and internationally.
ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA-FIA) program offers courses that are relevant to current requirements and aligned with the latest educational standards. Some of the courses offered include:
a. Financial Accounting
b. Cost Accounting
c. Management Accounting
These courses are designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge in these areas to excel in their careers in accounting.
This program aims to produce graduates who:

YBhg. Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. She advocates for Islamic TVET and supports individuals with disabilities, contributing to the book “Nothing is Impossible – Success Stories of Persons with Disabilities.”
As a scholar and Islamic Woman Entrepreneur, she focuses on women’s and community development and was honored as Tokoh Saidatina Aishah during National Women’s Day in 2021.
Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
