Diploma in Hajj and Umrah Management (DPHU) was introduced at Baitulmal Professional College (KPBKL) Kuala Lumpur for the first intake in April 2015. In accordance with the aims, objectives and learning outcomes of Diploma in Hajj and Umrah Management program, it is hoped that after following this program, KPBKL will produce competent graduates from the angle of administrative management and operations in the field, especially in the field of Hajj and Umrah management and tourism in addition to have the competitiveness in meeting the needs of employers and industry. This program offers courses that are relevant to current needs in accordance with the latest level of study. Among the courses offered are as below:

c. Da’wah and Communication
d. Cosmology of the Arabian Land
e. Fiqh of Hajj and Umrah
f. Islamic Tourism
g. Fundamentals of Islamic Entrepreneurship
h. Management of Ritual Sacrificial Worship
i. Islamic Finance
j. Islamic Management And Development

This program aims to produce graduates who:

  • Create a group of management implementers and future Hajj and Umrah guides who have the ability to apply knowledge, understand and analyze issues as well as employer or industrial needs.
  • Produce Assistant Managers and Hajj and Umrah guides that are able to work in team to solve across discipline problems through effective communication and critical thinking.
  • Produce Assistant Managers and Hajj and Umrah guides who are always there to improve knowledge and be able to move along with the progressive current ICT infrastructure to explore new opportunities.
  • Produce Assistant Managers and Hajj and Umrah guides that adhere to values, ethics, morals, manners and professionalism in offering services.
  • Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with at least THREE (3) honors in any subject and PASS in Mathematics. OR
  • Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least Grade C/Certificate Malaysian Higher Education (STAM) is at least Maqbul OR
  • Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM, Level 3) in a recognized related field and passed SPM with a minimum of one (1) honors; OR
  • Pass the Certificate (Level 3) of the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (KKM) in a related field recognized or equivalent qualifications; OR
  • Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian Government; OR
  • For candidates who do not have an Arabic language qualification at the SPM level or equivalent, they have to take an Arabic Language Preparatory course at the beginning of the studies.
