Certificate of Muamalat Application (SAM) introduced at Baitulmal Professional College Kuala Lumpur (KPBKL) is a preparatory program offered to students who have graduated from Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), especially for those who do not meet the minimum entry requirements for the diploma program offered by the college or in other higher educational institutions.

The offering of this certificate program aims to produce professional Bumiputra Muslim graduates who are able to continue their studies to the Diploma level and to the next level while at the same time producing graduates in the field of Shariah-compliant management who are competative to meet the needs of employers and industries in Malaysia and internationally.

This program offers courses that are relevant to the current needs of the industry and suit the latest level of study. Among the courses offered in this program are:

a. Maqasid Shariah in Management
b. Shariah Compliant Management Principles
c. Islamic Property Management in Malaysia
d. Human Resources Management in Islam

This program aims to produce graduates who:

  • Identify the basic knowledge and principles of Islam in the field of mualamat
  • Explain the concepts and principles of Islam in the field of muamalat
  • Apply Islamic concepts and principles to solve issues in the field of muamalat
  • Master communication skills to explain and discuss issues in the field of communication
  • Demonstrate teamwork skills in the field of communication
  • Perform tasks using digital applications and software related to work functions to meet the requirements and standards of the field of communication
  • Apply numeracy skills in solving problems that meet the requirements and standards of the field of education
  • Demonstrate leadership and responsibility and be able to carry out task instructions in line with the needs of the field
  • Demonstrate commitment to the principles of lifelong learning and self-development in the field of education
  • Adhering to the characteristics of Muslim entrepreneurship to manage and lead in related organizations
  • Practicing values, norms, ethics, manners and professionalism in the field of muamalat.

Graduates in this program have the opportunity to continue their studies to the Diploma level in College Professional Baitulmal Kuala Lumpur/ any IPTA/IPTS in the field of Muamalat, Islamic Finance, Islamic Studies and related fields.
